Relevansi Nilai Pendidikan Islam dalam Novel Lentera Senja Karya Ichsanudin Al Fikri Terhadap Materi Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Jenjang SMA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the depletion of religious attitudes caused by the times. Improvement of religious attitudes can be done by taking the value of Islamic education from a novel. The novel raised in this study is the novel Lentera Senja by Ichsanudin Al Fikri. This study aims to explain the values of Islamic education contained in the novel Lentera Senja by Ichsanudin Al Fikri and explain the relevance of Islamic education in the novel Lentera Senja by Ichsanudin Al Fikri to the material of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Character at the XI grade high school level. This study uses a type of library research (library research). The results of this study indicate that the value of Islamic education in the Lentera Senja novel found there are three main values, namely the value of faith, moral value, and worship value. The value of aqidah is divided into faith in Allah, faith in the book, faith in the prophets and messengers, faith in the last day (apocalypse), and faith in qada and qadar (destiny). Moral values are divided into respecting parents and teachers, praying, being patient, being grateful, reading the Qur'an, and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. The value of worship is divided into prayer, alms, and marriage. There are two values of Islamic education in the Lentera Senja novel that have relevance to the material of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics at the XI grade high school level, namely faith values and moral values. The value of aqidah consists of faith in the book of Allah, faith in the prophets and apostles, faith in the last day (apocalypse). Moral values consist of reading the Koran, the attitude of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and respecting parents and teachers.
