Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Active learning Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam

Abstract

Learning is a system consisting of various elements that work together to achieve predetermined educational goals. The thing that needs to be considered is the choice of learning methods, the methods used by teachers today are also increasingly varied, one of which is the application of active learning methods. This research aims to: 1) To determine the implementation of active learning methods using the small group discussion model in the subject History of Islamic Culture; 2) To find out the implications of implementing Islamic cultural history learning using active learning learning methods, 3) To find out the problems faced in the learning process using active learning learning methods. This research uses qualitative research methods, where the material is presented in descriptive form. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. This research was carried out at MAN 2 Madiun City, class 2) The implications of implementing the active learning method using the small group discussion model are very good, it can be seen from the students' activeness during learning, their ability to master the material during presentations, and from the results of their assessments which are above the KKM. 3) The problems faced during the learning process are differences in students' intelligence levels and students' lack of self-confidence as well as the lack of existing infrastructure at MAN 2 Madiun City.
