Personal Mastery Pada Santri Program Tahfidz Di Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Huda Sendang Jambon Ponorogo

Abstract

It cannot be denied that Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that are able to improve human resources. One of the programs to improve human resources in Islamic boarding schools tahfidz  is the program, to run the tahfidz program a personal mastery concept is needed. This study aims to identify and describe (1) personal mastery for students of the tahfidz program, (2) factors that influence personal mastery for students of the tahfidz program and (3) the impact of personal mastery on memorization of the Qur'an by students of the tahfidz program at the Mamba' Islamic boarding school. ul Huda Sendang Jambon Ponorogo. In this approach researchers use qualitative research methods. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out in four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data in this study used source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation.  Based on the results of the study it was found that (1) the students of the tahfidz program at the Mambaul Huda Sendang Jambon Ponorogo Islamic boarding school have implemented personal mastery to improve their Al-Qur'an memorization. (2) The tahfidz program at the Mambaul Huda Sendang Jambon Islamic boarding school, Ponorogo has internal and external factors. (3) The positive impact seen from the personal mastery of the students of the tahfidz. Program is that their memorization becomes smooth and easy.
