Pengaruh Pengetahuan Agama, Pendapatan, Dan Lingkungan Sosial Terhadap Halal Lifestyle Pada Tenaga Pendidik Kecamatan Kawedanan

Abstract

Halal lifestyle is becoming a global trend that not only reflects adherence to Islamic teachings, but also relates to aspects of ethics, health, and sustainability. However, in Kawedanan District, although the majority of educators are Muslim, understanding of halal lifestyle is still limited to food and beverage consumption. Interview results showed a gap between the religious knowledge possessed by educators and the implementation of a halal lifestyle as a whole, including in aspects of clothing, finances, and social interaction. Limited income factors and a less supportive social environment also become obstacles in consistently living a halal lifestyle.

The objectives of this study are: 1). To test and analyze the influence of religious knowledge on halal lifestyle among Educators in Kawedanan District. 2). To test and analyze the influence of income on halal lifestyle among Educators in Kawedanan District. 3). To test and analyze the influence of social environment on halal lifestyle among Educators in Kawedanan District. 4). To test and analyze the influence of religious knowledge, income, and social environment simultaneously on halal lifestyle among Educators in Kawedanan District.

The research method used is a quantitative method. In this study, researchers tested the influence of religious knowledge, income, and social environment variables on halal lifestyle among educators in Kawedanan District for a population of 667 respondents. Data collection instruments used interviews and questionnaires.

From the research that has been conducted, the results obtained are: 1). Religious knowledge has a significant and positive effect on halal lifestyle in educators in Kawedanan District with a sig value (0.000) <0.05. 2). Income has a positive and significant effect on halal lifestyle in educators in Kawedanan District with a sig value (0.000) <0.05. 3). The social environment has a positive and significant effect on halal lifestyle in educators in Kawedanan District with a sig value (0.000 <0.05). 4). Religious knowledge, income and social environment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on halal lifestyle in educators in Kawedanan District with a sig value (0.000) <0.05.
