Implementasi Prinsip Ekonomi Islam Dalam Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Pasca Pertambangan Di Ponorogo

Abstract

Post-mining management is a crucial aspect of maintaining environmental balance and improving community welfare. This study aims to analyze the strategies for managing former mining lands in several areas of Ponorogo from the perspective of Islamic economics, focusing on resource reutilization and revitalization. The post-mining management methods include reclamation for agriculture, repurposing into residential areas, and economic development through tourism and village enterprises.This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews with various relevant stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of post-mining management practices.The findings indicate several challenges in the land restoration process, including financial constraints, dense and compacted soil conditions that hinder agricultural reuse, and geographical factors that complicate reclamation efforts. However, there are also supporting factors, such as the involvement of village governments, the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and community participation in ensuring the continued productivity of post-mining land. From an Islamic economic perspective, post-mining management in these areas reflects the principles of public benefit (al-mashlahah), environmental preservation (hifzh al-biah), and asset protection (hifzh al-mal). Additionally, the management model involving BUMDes and local communities demonstrates efforts to achieve a more equitable and sustainable distribution of economic benefits for society.
