Research Mapping on “Islamic Economic Discourse ans Socialist Economic Discourse”: A bibliometric Study Using VOSviewer

This study aims to map the development of research on Islamic Economic Discourse and Socialist Economic Discourse. A bibliometric analysis was conducted on economic journals published over a one-year period, from early 2024 to late 2024. Among the objectives of the study are: 1) To obtain the number of articles published by economic journals related to “Islamic economic discourse and socialist economic discourse”; 2) To examine authorship patterns; 3) To examine the gender of authors; 5) To identify the most common research topics. By conducting a search using VOSviewer, data was obtained showing that from the beginning to the end of 2024, articles were found to have been written by 38 authors or researchers, with 35 male researchers and 3 female researchers.
The research articles were then analyzed descriptively, inputted, and analyzed to visualize the mapping of the development of research topics and subjects related to “Islamic Economic Discourse and Socialist Economic Discourse.” The results of the study show that publications on “Islamic Economic Discourse and Socialist Economic Discourse” are still being discussed today, and based on the results of visualization using VOSviewer, research on “Islamic Economic Discourse and Socialist Economic Discourse” is divided into 11 main themes.
