A Pesantren-Based Values-Oriented Educational Quality Management Model at MTs Darul Huda Ponorogo

Pesantren is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia that plays an important role in educating the nation's life, especially in religious aspects. Education quality management is an important aspect in improving the quality of Islamic boarding school educational institutions. The aims to examine the education quality management system at MTs Darul Huda, focusing on the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation of the quality of education based on pesantren values. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and tested for validity using triangulation and member checks. The aims of the research are: First, planning includes the establishment of a vision and mission to achieve the goal, the selection of new students by TADIRU and BTQ tests, and the recruitment of teachers who meet religious and professional criteria. Second, implementation by integrating the national and pesantren curriculum, yanbu'a program for students who are not fluent in BTQ, teacher training, and character development and student achievements. Third, the evaluation is carried out through learning assessment, monthly monitoring by the quality assurance team, and external accreditation, where MTs Darul Huda have A accreditation.
