THE LIFE AND EXAMPLE OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) AS A BLESSING FOR ALL CREATION ACCORDING TO THE BOOK *Rahmatan Lil ‘Ālamīn* BY SA‘ĪD IBN ‘ALĪ IBN WAHF AL-QAḤṬĀNĪ

Abstract

This study examines the life, character, and example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a mercy to all creation according to Sa‘īd ibn ‘Alī ibn Wahf al-Qaḥṭānī. The primary source in this study is the book Rahmatan lil ‘Ālamīn ‘inda Sa‘īd ibn ‘Alī ibn Wahf al-Qaḥṭānī, while supporting sources include relevant articles from previous research findings. This study employs a library research method. Using content analysis, this study identifies five main aspects: (1) the Prophet’s noble lineage, (2) his life journey from birth to death, (3) noble character, (4) physical traits and daily habits, and (5) the contribution of his da’wah in shaping civilization. The results indicate that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a perfect role model in spiritual, social, and moral aspects, which are relevant to modern character education.
