Educational Equality for Students with Disabilities in Multicultural Education

Abstract

This study discusses solutions for safeguarding the rights of students with disabilities to develop their talents, as proposed by M. Ummah. The primary source for this study is the book *Multicultural Educational Issues and Perspectives*. Supporting sources for this article include previous research findings on related topics. This study employs a library research method. Through content analysis, this study has identified four solutions to safeguard the rights of students with disabilities to develop their talents, namely: (1) improving talent screening methods; (2) improving the identification or assessment system; (3) considering the mapping of service/class placements; and (4) implementing a sustainable multicultural-based curriculum.
